I just came across this curiosity: guitars.com/inventory/ez5323-kramer-floyd-roseThe body is a very early Pacer, it seems, but has been slapped on a FR sig neck. I would have said that this was added later, but look at the nut: unless I'm missing something vital, this might be the only time we'll see a Floyd Rose neck without a locking nut! This also suggests that this was the original neck, and that this unlikely concoction wasn't put together by some hapless guitarist. The neck plate is unnumbered, but seems to stem from the mid-80s, at a time when the other parts in the guitar were out of use. It might be a that this is a "custom job" that was slapped together for one of Farmer's star acquaintances, using parts that had gone out of use. Lovely guitar, though. The emerald green is so rarely seen. I guess the vintage tremolo isn't a good selling point for the Kramer crowd, but I hope this unique piece finds a home.

Here's a mutt with a similar neck, albeit wonky.
